As I listen to the lyrics, & consider how this album is the 1st since Layne passed, it seems to me "her" in "take her out" is AIC. She's deserving to being taken out again, instead of hiding & dormant. Another brilliant song by a national treasure of a songwriter. His breadth & depth blow me away. Just my 0.02.

Grew up with The Beatles ( yes I know this is not the Beatles ) but none the less you get the drift...., I just kicked a 6 day mother fuckin Fentanyl withdrawal so if I seem a little punchy pard. Great version of a great song. When one considers the tragic ending of Lennon’s life ( That’s John Lennon not Vladimir Lennon ) So much sadness. Which gives the song its power and redemptive qualities. You know I just kicked a 6 day Fentanyl withdrawal. For the first time in 20 years all drugs of a controlled binary apogee that’s is ones that get me high or addicted are now completely if not totally gone from my system. Deep is my peace.

Actually, this is the Deluxe version released in 2008. The Japanese Version of Vanilla/Normal NMOH has 2 differents acoustic bonus tracks. The Deluxe Version acoustics are better, though.
